We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced emergency department, providing high-quality nursing care for patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill or trauma patients.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in the emergency department
Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs
Implement nursing strategies and interventions to achieve desired outcomes
Manage multiple cases simultaneously while continually prioritizing care needs
Provide follow-up care instructions and appropriate referrals upon discharge
Coordinate care with physicians and other hospital departments
Maintain a patient-focused and safety-conscious approach at all times
Qualification
Required
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or ED required)
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license
+ Compact license holders must obtain Florida RN license within 60 days of relocation
Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 30 days of start
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – within 90 days of start
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – within 90 days of start
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – within 6 months
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or TNCC Instructor – within 6 months
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) – within 6 months
