Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components
Create and optimize CNC programs to ensure efficient, accurate production
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production work orders
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
Make tooling and machine adjustments to optimize efficiency and accuracy
Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic machine troubleshooting
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years experience operating CNC lathes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Strong knowledge of G code programming and CNC controls
Experience with quality inspection processes and precision measuring instruments
Detail oriented, reliable, and safety focused
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Mazak or HAAS experience strongly preferred
Technical or vocational training preferred
