Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining complex software applications

Collaborating with other developers and UX team

Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various projects

Running diagnostic tests, identifying bugs, and ensuring the application runs smoothly across different devices and browsers

Recommending and implementing improvements to processes, tools and technologies

Keeping informed of advancements in the field of modern development technologies

Required

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science or related field

Experience building web applications using modern web frameworks and core web technologies

Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL database

Experience in building responsive web applications

Familiarity with RESTful API integration and handling asynchronous operations

Experience working with a UI/UX team and understanding of UX principles

Comfortable working with version control systems (Git)

Great organizational and time management skills

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

Citizenship or lawful permanent resident required due to federal position

Preferred

Experience with Angular, Ionic Framework

Experience with Node.js or similar back-end technologies

Experience with game development engines (Unity, UE4)

Familiarity with CI/CD tools

Familiarity with a diverse set of databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB)

Proficiency with programming languages including Typescript, C#, C++, Go, Python

Data analysis and visualization

Exposure to system design principles

Familiarity with Docker and containerization principles

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
