Computer Works Team Lead

Responsibilities

Responsible for all management duties, including all day-to-day operations, and all associates
Evaluate donated computers to assess the value
Refurbish computer equipment to restore it to like-new working conditions and/or appearance, then transfer it to the stores for resale
Install an operating system on computers and configure it to CW standards
Perform minor upgrades as needed to the machine to be transferred to the stores for resale
Troubleshoot repairs, maintain, install, and perform testing activities on various computer equipment and peripherals
Warranty maintenance on machines bought from CW
Drive associate productivity
Ensure operations are lean and operate at maximum efficiency
Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies securely following the established budget and GWH’s policies and procedures
Responsible for the stewardship of donations and all other GWH property and supplies
Recruit and train Computer Works associates to build a skilled workforce
Responsible for supervising, evaluating, and developing within the framework of GWH policies, procedures, and the associates’ job description
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Demonstrate professionalism and present a friendly, cooperative attitude
Ability to multi-task, make quick decisions, adapt to change, and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Adheres to all GWH Policies & Procedures, Loss Prevention & Safety Regulations, and GWH Guiding Principles
Must be punctual, have dependable attendance, and maintain an appropriate appearance
Must safely conduct work; maintain good housekeeping standards; have all the aisles and pathways to fire exits clear and free from clutter; and keep work areas neat and clean
Adheres to all GWH policies and procedures

Required

A minimum of two (2) years of management experience is required
Ability to communicate, read and write in English
Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office)
Capable of working autonomously
Strong organizational skills and ability to work well with others in a close office environment
The ability to stand, twist, bend, squat, reach, kneel, push, and pull
Able to lift, up to, 40 lbs

Preferred

A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Certification in technology repair (A+ certification or better preferred) and/or equivalent job experience
Experience in online store operations preferred
Experience in material handling is preferred
