Responsibilities
Lead multiple audit and assurance projects from initial planning through final deliverables
Manage, coach, and develop a remote team of auditors (staff and seniors)
Build lasting client relationships—primarily within the Non Profit/Education and State/Local Government space
Ensure financial statements comply with U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
Provide technical support on complex accounting issues
Identify opportunities to enhance client value and improve internal processes
Partner with leadership on firm-wide strategy and innovation
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license (required)
Minimum 5 years of recent audit/assurance experience in public accounting
Proven experience managing full audit cycles and leading teams
Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
Excellent communication and project management skills
Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
Preferred
Public company audit experience is a strong plus
Familiar with modern cloud-based audit platforms
