Responsibilities
Develop core software for Oracle Database and Exadata, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability
Design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems for large on-prem and cloud environments
Collaborate with various cloud teams to deliver stable, high-performance systems
Qualification
Required
BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Strong background in distributed systems, operating systems, networking, and storage systems
Strong C/C++ programming skills
Experience developing on Linux platform
2+ years of software development experience
Solid understanding of computer architecture, memory hierarchy, I/O, concurrency, etc
Preferred
Experience in databases is a plus
Experience in Rust programming language is a plus

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
