Responsibilities
Lead comprehensive financial performance and margin analysis, evaluating revenue, volume, and key drivers while explaining variances related to weather, pricing, usage, and operational factors
Drive forecasting, planning, and multi-scenario analysis by assessing exposure to weather variability, demand shifts, supply costs, and billing determinants
Serve as a finance liaison to Supply, Accounting, Operations, and Regulatory teams, aligning financial insights with supply costs, revenue recognition, and close processes
Lead enterprise analytics and special projects by developing financial models, dashboards, and standardized reporting tools that enhance decision-making
Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and stronger financial performance controls
Prepare executive-ready materials and present clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
7+ years of experience in finance, analytics, or performance management, ideally within a regulated utility environment
Strong knowledge of utility revenue models, margin drivers, weather impacts, and regulatory recovery mechanisms
Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
MBA or CPA preferred
