Responsibilities

Design and execute a multi-year corporate development strategy aligned with shifting national payor, provider, and value-based care dynamics
Translate strategy into measurable results through clear success metrics, aligned incentives, disciplined execution, and continuous performance improvement
Architect a scalable, forward-looking corporate development organization — evolving structure, capabilities, and resources to support long-term innovation and expansion
Build and sustain high-impact relationships with physicians, health systems, and industry partners to drive strategic collaborations and market leadership
Lead end-to-end M&A strategy and execution — from target identification and diligence through negotiation, integration, and value realization
Partner across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Value-Based Care, Hospital Services, and Venture teams to align development initiatives with enterprise priorities
Champion a culture of compliance, ensuring all corporate development activities meet federal and state healthcare regulations and DaVita’s ethical standards

Required

Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred
10+ years of corporate development experience

Preferred

Strong healthcare expertise preferred, including reimbursement, physician practice management, CKD/ESRD, and value-based care
Existing relationships within hospitals and nephrology communities highly desirable
Candidates without direct healthcare experience may be considered if bringing relevant backgrounds in management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or pharmaceuticals
