Responsibilities

Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, circuit diagrams, and mechanical drawings
Mechanical aptitude with strong understanding of basic hydraulic principles (flows, pressures, components)
Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and shop equipment
Ability to manage multiple builds simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical issues
Ability to follow documented build processes, quality checks, and safety procedures
Basic electrical understanding (wiring, sensors, motors) or willingness to learn
Ability to lift, position, and assemble components using cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment
Strong organizational habits and attention to detail in assembly, labeling, and documentation
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineering, fabrication, and production teams

Required

Preferred

Experience assembling hydraulic power units, manifolds, or fluid power systems
Familiarity with hydraulic components such as pumps, motors, valves, filters, and reservoirs
Tube bending and hose fabrication experience (manual or CNC)
Welding, plasma cutting, machining, and/or light fabrication experience
Electrical panel assembly or machine wiring experience
Forklift and overhead crane operation experience
Understanding of ISO cleanliness standards, filtration practices, and hydraulic testing procedures
Ability to perform system testing, flushing, and final inspection
CFPHS or other fluid power certifications (IFPS)
Experience documenting deviations, build notes, or quality issues
Prior work in a hydraulic distributor, OEM, or custom machine‑build environment
