Cisco VoIP Technician
Responsibilities
Perform moves, adds, and changes in Cisco Unified Communications environments (CUCM)
Add, move, and modify user extensions, voicemail boxes, and device profiles
Provision and configure Cisco IP phones, softphones, and voicemail services
Support end users with basic VoIP issues including phone registration, call routing, and voicemail access
Monitor ticket queues and respond to service requests
Escalate complex voice, network, or system issues to Tier 2/3 support teams
Maintain accurate documentation of changes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
Assist with phone deployments, replacements, and site rollouts
Qualification
Required
3-5+ year of experience supporting Cisco VoIP or similar telephony systems
Basic understanding of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
Familiarity with MAC work (Moves, Adds, Changes) in voice environments
Knowledge of IP telephony concepts (SIP, SCCP, extensions, voicemail)
Experience using a ticketing system (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, etc.)
Strong communication and customer service skills
