Responsibilities
Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software
As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation
High-level programming languages and scripting languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
Owning and delivering cloud platform integrations to enhance the cloud console experience, from design through production readiness
Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end feature development, driving design, implementation, deployment, and iterative improvements
Experience working directly with global customers to troubleshoot, debug, reproduce and resolve complex technical issues over live remote sessions
Well-versed in secure coding practices, including input validation, authentication, authorization, and prevention of common vulnerabilities
RESTful API design and development
Micro-service design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols
Experience with Product lifecycle, including release management and deployment
Experience leading pull request reviews to uphold code quality, maintainability, and standards
Development using object-oriented design patterns
Developing applications with database integrations
UI/UX design and development
Writing unit tests with focus on code coverage and quality
Computer networking principles, algorithms and operating systems
Cloud infrastructure, including administration on cloud consoles of enterprise cloud services
Docker/Kubernetes
CI/CD concepts, tools and build pipelines
Linux internals and Unix troubleshooting skills
Git, Jira, Confluence and BitBucket

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
