Senior LevelThe University of Pittsburgh's Department of Radiology is seeking a qualified imaging research assistant professor to support clinical and research imaging analysis. This role involves developing novel MRI analysis techniques and overseeing data quality assurance within the department's MR Research Center and Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities
Develop or identify quantitative tools for imaging data processing, including diffusion, anatomic, and BOLD fMRI
Oversee data quality assurance/quality control to maintain the integrity of experimental data
Provide scientific and technical assistance to researchers and faculty
Assist researchers and faculty to implement image analysis pipelines
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics or a related field
Demonstrated excellent organizational, project management, and written/oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks are required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance
