Responsibilities
Analyzing and interpreting statutes, caselaw and regulations
Preparing legal documents including pleadings, motions, written discovery, etc
Providing strategic legal analysis and guidance
Investigating the facts by interviewing witnesses, conferring with experts, researching public records and social media, and gathering information from other available sources
Evaluating all aspects of exposure, including direct damages, consequential damages, attorney fees, costs, interest, and reputational harm, as well as legal issues and the likelihood of success, to develop recommendations
Promptly and effectively communicating with clients on all substantive matters, including development of strategy, receipt of discovery or other sources of information, and outcome of hearings or other events
Demonstrating and applying strong negotiation skills, including using available factual and legal issues as leverage and developing creative and practical proposals to resolve cases
Demonstrating and applying strong courtroom skills, including the ability to explain complex legal and factual issues succinctly and persuasively (trial experience is preferred)
Maintaining confidentiality in all matters and complying with all legal standards and regulations
Qualification
Required
Three (3) to five (5) years of litigation experience is required
