Automotive Engineer

TRG is seeking recent engineering graduates with internship or Formula SAE/racing team experience. The Automotive Engineer will develop build plans, coordinate purchasing, and lead teams to ensure program deliverables are met while resolving any quality or engineering issues.

Responsibilities

Develop and communicate build plans based on vehicle specifications
Coordinate purchasing, track development and program timing for engine systems parts
Lead multiple teams to ensure all program deliverables are met and any issues affecting quality, engineering design, manufacturing process and timing are resolved
Must have the ability to direct issue resolution at all levels

Bachelors Degree in engineeringBasic automotive knowledgeFluency in Microsoft OfficeLeadershipCommunication skillsMasters Degree in engineeringFormula SAE experienceRelevant automotive internship experiencePreparing presentationsSelf-starter

Required

Bachelors Degree in engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Mechatronics
0-3 years engineering experience
Basic automotive knowledge
Fluency in Microsoft Office
Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
Must be comfortable with preparing presentations and presenting to all levels
Strong self-starter able to manage multiple programs and communicate status to management

Preferred

Masters Degree in engineering
Formula SAE experience or relevant automotive internship experience
