Business Development Manager - GBS BU (Generative AI Business Unit)
MSI Americas is a multinational company in the Telecommunications & IT sector, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager for their Generative AI Business Unit. The role involves selling Generative AI solutions and services, engaging with executives, and driving business development from lead generation to closing.
Responsibilities
Direct and leveraged sales for GBS
Prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, and closing GBS opportunities
Build lasting client relationships and deliver sales revenue per quarterly quota
Cross-sell Gen AI offerings with other BU teams
Forecast and report accurately
Represent the company at industry meetings and trade shows
Develop strong channel and alliance strategies
Meet/exceed quarterly sales targets
Accurate business forecasting
Deliver new business across all service offerings
Collaborate across BUs to maximize reach
Qualification
Required
BE/MBA with ~15 years in selling enterprise software/IT services
Experience selling AI solutions and crafting strong value propositions
Proven ability to win new logos
Executive communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
Familiarity with market trends and business models across 1–3 verticals
