Calvert County Government is seeking a personable and dynamic individual to be the first point of contact for visitors at our Northeast Community Center. The ideal candidate will engage with people of all ages and thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling responsibilities such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and supervising the front desk area.

Responsibilities

Supervises the front desk area
Processes class registration
Processes membership cards and fees
Operates cash register, opening, close-out, etc
Assists with the preparation of financial and attendance reports
Answers telephone
Responds to inquiries for information or assistance
Interprets and explains rules and regulations; reports violations
Staffs special events as required
Performs related work as required

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Two years experience working in a customer service-oriented position
