Responsibilities

Prepare and process SNAP and DDS federal drawdowns in PMS, ASAP, and other portals
Verify alignment between draws and reported expenditures
Coordinate with AM1 and AM2 to ensure timely cash flow
Reconcile drawdowns to grant expenditures in LaGov. Identify, investigate, and resolve variances. Maintain documentation for audit readiness and support financial transparency
Assist the Account Manager 1 with preparing and validating various Fiscal reports
Monitor grant activity to ensure allowable costs, proper budget execution, and internal control compliance. Support the development of procedures and corrective actions
Provide technical assistance on drawdowns, reconciliation, and reporting systems. Assist in developing job aids and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Required

Three years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial operations, payroll, or banking
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus twenty-four semester hours in accounting
A bachelor's degree with twenty-four semester hours in accounting
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, management, economics, or statistics
An advanced degree in accounting, finance, business administration, management, economics, quantitative methods, or statistics
Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

Preferred

Experience with federal grant or SNAP/DDS program reporting
Proficiency with financial systems (LaGov) and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information
Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
