Responsibilities
Prepare and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required filings
Draft financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and supporting disclosures
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
Coordinate with internal departments (Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations) to gather required information
Assist with earnings release preparation and supporting schedules
Research and document technical accounting issues and new accounting pronouncements
Support implementation of new accounting standards
Maintain disclosure checklists and internal reporting controls
Assist with SOX compliance related to financial reporting
Liaise with external auditors during quarterly and annual audits
Identify and implement process improvements within the reporting function
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred)
6+ years of public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) and/or public company reporting experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Experience preparing or auditing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
Proficiency in financial reporting tools
Advanced Excel skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, reporting-driven environment
