The role involves coordinating activities related to the administration and daily operation of the vanpool service, supporting vanpool participants, and promoting alternative transportation solutions.

Responsibilities
Administer vanpool service, including group formations, operations, maintenance and risk management
Coordinate placement of vans with groups of commuters and serve as liaison for vanpool groups
Coordinate vehicle servicing, track fleet data, and monitor fleet status. Serve as liaison to vanpool customers for vehicle maintenance, pick up and drop off of vehicles, and preventive maintenance questions
Monitor, verify and report on vanpool compliance; process and reconcile monthly reports and billings
Track and respond to complaints related to vanpool driving performance
Provide training, technical assistance and support to vanpool customers
Represent the agency at outreach events with the goal of gaining new vanpool and rideshare clients
Perform marketing activities including promotions and advertising
Qualification
Required
An Associate's Degree in related field and three (3) years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
You have exceptional customer service and public relations skills that reflect courtesy and respect, while maintaining a positive attitude, sense of humor and contributing to a diverse team environment
You are proficient in the use of MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.); and have the ability to quickly adapt to unfamiliar software programs
You have strong organizational skills including prioritizing, ensuring accuracy, multi-tasking and handling interruptions appropriately; ensuring assignments are completed in a timely and effective manner
You must be willing to submit to a criminal background investigation, the results of which must meet the agency's hiring criteria
You must be able to obtain a Washington State Driver's License
You have a proven track record of reliability including work attendance and timeliness
