Responsibilities
Develop detailed solar system designs using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and CAD software, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications
Create comprehensive electrical and mechanical schematics for solar power installations, integrating system components seamlessly
Utilize MATLAB and GIS tools to analyze site data, optimize system performance, and assess environmental factors influencing design decisions
Collaborate with project management teams to develop accurate project schedules and coordinate design milestones
Conduct system modeling and simulations to evaluate performance, efficiency, and safety of proposed solar solutions
Prepare technical documentation including schematics, system layouts, and construction drawings for permitting and construction teams
Support construction teams during installation by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting design-related issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field with a focus on renewable energy systems
Proven experience with project scheduling, project management practices, and construction processes within the solar industry
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, CAD software, and MATLAB for system design and analysis
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles applicable to solar power systems including wiring diagrams and schematics
Mechanical knowledge relevant to mounting structures, system integration, and mechanical component selection
Familiarity with GIS tools for site assessment and environmental analysis
Understanding of systems engineering approaches to optimize overall system performance and reliability
Experience with construction practices related to solar installations and familiarity with regulatory standards
