Associate Director, US HCC Strategy Lead – HIV Alliance

Responsibilities

Develop compelling PLWH centric narratives and insight driven omnichannel engagement plans that authentically reflect the lived experiences of people living with HIV and inform all downstream HCC initiatives
Define and lead the unbranded and branded HCC strategy - including DTC campaigns, HCC resources, and integrated media plans - to engage PLWH with culturally relevant behavior shaping experiences that drive informed treatment consideration, appropriate switching, adherence, and long-term retention
Design and implement awareness, activation, and retention strategies that address unmet needs across the PLWH journey and strengthen overall brand performance
Oversee the HCC AOR to ensure strategic alignment, creative excellence, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration that meets business goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with patient advocacy groups, ensuring their perspectives inform content, creative direction, and activation priorities
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and alliance partners (including cross-functional teams) to ensure unified planning, seamless execution, and consistent representation of HCC strategy
Manage budgets and resource allocation - optimizing investment choices and ensuring efficient high-impact deployment of internal and external resources
Ensure all commercial activities are executed in full compliance with all relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and company policies by partnering with Legal and Compliance

Required

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
Minimum of 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a consumer or patient (HCC/DTC) marketing role
Demonstrated ability to translate complex clinical information into simple, compelling, patient-relevant messaging
Proven experience developing and executing omnichannel marketing campaigns, with strong capabilities in digital and social media strategy
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across a wide range of stakeholders
