InternBlue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is committed to transforming healthcare and is seeking an intern for their Pharmacy Management department. The intern will support managed care pharmacy initiatives, working closely with the pharmacy team and PBM clinical team on various projects related to drug management strategies and clinical programs.

Responsibilities
Actively engage with BCBSMN pharmacy team and PBM clinical team in design and coordination of clinical programs including formulary management and utilization management
Provide assistance with PBM oversight
Lead projects related to disease and case management, patient safety, and/or clinical outcomes
Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of clinical programs
Actively engage in special projects related to drug management activities
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in an educational program for the duration of the internship
Completed at least the first year of pharmacy coursework
Hold a GPA of 3.0 or above on a scale of 4.0
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and a customer service orientation
Willingness to take initiative and learn new concepts and technical skills
Ability to prioritize and support a variety of projects
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, including being on-site at least 2 days per week
