The position involves analyzing data to identify fraudulent activity, supporting program integrity units, and maintaining data systems for multiple units.

Responsibilities
Conducting in-depth analysis of data from multiple sources to identify potentially fraudulent activity
Completing data analysis and review of fraud referrals and investigation findings to identify trends in fraud activities, identify risk areas, and proactively provide data that supports the department
Supporting program integrity units to provide data at the request of state or federal audits or management evaluations
Creating and maintaining data systems for multiple units to track the work assigned; and other one-time projects as assigned to support multiple unit activities
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field of study and three years related experience or A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering or other related field and two years of experience
Experience may include application programming, software installation and software maintenance, including systems programming, online programming, database design, analysis and programming using IFS and/or SQL/DS and database administration
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Preferred
Experience working for a government agency in a technical or data role
Experience using varying levels of programming skills ranging from queries to coding
Skill or experience with interpreting business needs for data and IT work
