Responsibilities

Mission Application Architect: Lead the design and prototyping of high-priority mission applications, including the Enterprise Mission Report (MISREP) tool and Space Threat Assessment dashboards

Data Foundation Services: Build modular "Data Foundation" microservices responsible for data transformation, tagging, and audit logging to standardize how intelligence data is processed across the enterprise

API Development: Design and implement secure APIs to ensure interoperability with external DoD and IC systems, such as the Unified Data Library (UDL) and Warp Core

System Integration: Solve complex integration challenges by creating software interfaces that fuse multi-source data (MASINT, GEOINT) into a coherent operational picture

Technical Mentorship: Guide a team of developers through Agile sprints, ensuring code quality, modularity, and adherence to open architecture standards

Required

7+ years of full-stack software development experience

Expert proficiency in Java, Python, or Go

Strong background in microservices architecture, Kubernetes, docker/containers, RESTful API design, GEOINT data services, AuthN/AuthZ (OIDC/OAuth, SAML, PKI) and cloud-native development

Preferred

Experience building GEOINT data catalogs and integrating with government data platforms (e.g., UDL, ISSA) or similar large-scale data fabrics is a significant plus
