Responsibilities
Under general supervision, performs highly skilled clerical duties including administrative, judicial support, and public contact tasks within the Municipal Court; performs related duties as assigned
Support multiple areas of the court, including Customer Service, Warrants, Accounting, and the Judicial Section. Assignments are determined by operational needs and may change over time based on department need
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or the equivalent
Three (3) years of full-time experience performing responsible clerical duties involving contact with the public and providing extensive customer service
Proficiency in keyboarding sufficient to type 45 net words per minute
Must pass a nationwide fingerprint-based record check, and a wants/warrants check
Must complete Security Awareness and National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/Nevada Criminal Justice Information System (NCJIS) certification within six (6) months of hire/transfer and be recertified every year. Must maintain certifications in NCIC/NCJIS as a condition of continued employment
Preferred
Two (2) years of full-time clerical experience in a legal setting or criminal justice agency
College coursework in criminal justice
Bilingual proficiency in verbal and written communications

Uniform Allowance - $85.00 per month to employees required to wear a uniform, or $115.00 if required to wear fire retardant clothing
A $175.00 shoe allowance is provided on an annual basis to those employees required to wear ANSI Z41-1991 or above rated safety shoes
