Responsibilities
Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures
Perform work in a safe and timely manner
Perform and document work performed according to the appropriate manuals and regulations required
Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations
Perform inspection of identify parts needed and order the parts
Perform assigned duties as assigned
May assist with maintenance / open close activity
Clean aircraft and components as required
Assist in Continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Typically, 0 - 2 years interiors experience (i.e., installing / finishing upholstery, aircraft interiors, and / or interior fixtures etc.)
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Basic PC skills
Ability to Inspect all interior components / related fixtures
Demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
Planning and organizational skills
Preferred
Demonstrated ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
Ability to train other employees
Knowledge of aircraft interior repairs
Knowledge of sewing/upholstery repairs
Knowledge of time estimating
Ability to develop new processes to reduce man-hours / material waste
"A" Certification or Repairman certificate
