Responsibilities
Support commercial finance transactions, including asset‑based and leveraged lending, syndicated and participated facilities, acquisition financings, fund finance, and mezzanine lending
Assist with workouts, amendments, forbearance agreements, and restructuring of distressed credit facilities
Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and closing deliverables
Conduct due diligence and review borrower organizational documents and collateral packages
Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, advisors, and internal teams to move deals from term sheet to closing
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school
Active Ohio Bar admission (or immediate eligibility)
1-3 years of commercial finance experience, including exposure to asset‑based and leveraged lending, syndicated facilities, acquisition finance, fund finance, mezzanine lending, and restructurings
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced environment
