Financial Analyst II / General Accounting / Full-time / Days

The Financial Analyst II will support the Finance/Accounting department by preparing financial reports, coordinating grant reimbursements, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

Responsibilities
Provide the department with financial support by participating in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for CHLA and the Finance/Accounting department
Review and coordinate Grant reimbursements and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance with hospital policy
Assist in preparation of interim and final financial reports, variance analysis and budgets for the department
Perform the responsibilities of the position with moderate supervision, ensuring compliance and sound business practices
Qualification
Required
3+ years of financial analyst experience required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Preferred
3+ years accounting experience highly preferred
Healthcare or academic experience preferred
Knowledge of Peoplesoft accounting preferred
