Sales Intern

Responsibilities

Research service providers, markets, and competitive landscapes within assigned territories
Support territory managers with prospect identification and account planning activities
Analyze CRM data to ensure accurate account, contact, and opportunity information
Assist with Salesforce data cleanup and enrichment to support pipeline development
Prepare customer-facing materials, including presentations, briefs, and account summaries
Collaborate with Marketing on targeted outreach and Demand Generation campaigns
Participate in internal sales calls and customer meetings when appropriate
Help track activity metrics, forecast updates, and weekly territory performance
Work with cross-functional teams to understand Calix solutions and customer use cases

Required

Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program, working towards a Bachelor's Degree in STEM, Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Preference will be given to juniors and seniors with previous work or internship experience
Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation capabilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot)
Comfortable learning new technologies, tools, and platforms
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Comfortable working in a fast-changing, high-growth environment
Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September)

Preferred

Salesforce or CRM experience preferred but not required
