The IT Analytics Intern will gain hands-on experience in business analysis, data science, and reporting while assisting the IT Team in analyzing data and improving IT performance, particularly in relation to SAP implementations.

Responsibilities

Assist in gathering detailed data, analyzing and developing recommendations to assist our business partners with utilizing SAP to complete their roles

Play a key role in gathering data related to the SAP project

Collect and document defects identified during the testing phases of the SAC implementation

Analyze trends in SAP data and defect reports to identify areas for improvement

Manage, interpret, and validate data

Work cross-functionally with other areas of the business, contributing to priority transformation initiatives

Create and manage operational reports that provide valuable insights to the stakeholders

Adapt to rapidly changing requirements and priorities

Perform data analysis and recommend opportunities for process improvements

Facilitate communications to clarify requirements with key business stakeholders

Develop recommendations from analysis

Present recommendations to senior management

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree as a Junior or Senior student on path for Data Analytics, Computer Science or Information Systems or related field

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Excellent communications skills and able to succeed in a team environment

Demonstrated ability using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (i.e. ability to create charts, graphs, pivot tables, advanced formulas, statistical tools, etc.)

Strong blend of analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Detail Oriented

Ability to work independently

Preferred

Previous retail experience preferred

Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery

Exposure to SAP reporting solutions including SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP Datasphere is a plus
