Senior Account Executive - Political & Advocacy
MV Digital Group is seeking a relationship-driven Sr. Account Executive - Political & Advocacy to help grow their political, public affairs, advocacy, and issue-based business. This role involves leveraging existing relationships to drive new business development and client growth through their digital advertising products.

Responsibilities
Leverage existing relationships and networks to introduce MV Digital Group to prospective clients
Achieve your sales goals by prospecting new business to grow our overall brand
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with advocacy organizations, chambers, unions, campaigns, and public affairs firms so that you can advise clients on our comprehensive product mix including digital, search, video and mobile solutions
Identify opportunities where MV's data, audience targeting, and media buying capabilities can support client goals
Collaborate with internal strategy and media teams to shape proposals and client solutions
Present solutions to clients, working collaboratively to achieve the product mix aligned to their goals
Further your client relationships through retention and upselling
Review campaign results, learn from data and celebrate your successes
Work with our advertising fulfillment team to provide accurate information for each client campaign
Represent MV Digital Groups at industry events, political gatherings, and conferences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or a combination of education with related experience
Proven success of increasing sales in a competitive marketplace using a needs-based selling approach, or a strong professional network in politics, advocacy, or public affairs
Credibility and comfort speaking with senior stakeholders
An understanding of how political, policy, and advocacy organizations operate
Experience identifying client needs and connect them to smart digital solutions would give you a head start
Skills to build on to effectively negotiate and close sales with our products
Ability to build rapport and credibility with clients, and comfort speaking with senior stakeholders
Excellent communication skills - to write, create and deliver effective presentations
Self-motivation and resilience
Ability to effectively organize your day, multi-task by pivoting to various sales activities to build your pipeline, and work under deadlines
Familiarity with CRM sales management software experience, ideally SalesForce (we'll provide training)
Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Power Point & Excel to create presentations and review data
