Responsibilities
Design and implement robust telemetry systems to ingest and leverage hardware and performance data from sources, for comprehensive observability for AI/ML infrastructure
Develop high-impact infrastructure, tooling, and observability features that empower both internal teams and external customers to effectively monitor and troubleshoot their large-scale machine learning workloads on Google Cloud
Partner with ML engineers, data scientists, and ML framework teams to optimize model performance by providing essential tools and capabilities for rapid iteration and ideation
Lead the design and development of scalable systems with an iterative approach
Collaborate across organizational boundaries with cross-functional teams to align technical designs and deliver cohesive, end-to-end observability solutions for our customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
3 years of experience testing, maintaining or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role
Experience designing large-scale distributed system and applying engineering best practices
Experience in ML model training, performance optimization and observability
