Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangar areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity or maintenance concerns
Monitor access control points, check identification and/or credentials, manage visitor logs, and direct arrivals to the appropriate locations while following site entry requirements
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, notifying the appropriate contacts, and coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as directed
Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and daily activity, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover using required systems and/or post orders
Qualification
Required
Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience
Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
