Summer High School Intern Program SHIP 2026
Foundation Health Partners is excited to open the application window for their 2026 Summer High School Internship Program, designed for motivated high school students interested in the healthcare field. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to daily work in a healthcare environment and participate in workshops that introduce a variety of healthcare careers.

Responsibilities
May perform other office and clerical support work including, but not limited to, making copies, sending faxes, opening/distributing mail, and maintaining supplies
Expands and develops knowledge with exposure to a variety of roles related to area of study
Participates on work teams, contributes to projects and initiatives, and performs various tasks as needed by the assigned unit/department
May accompany Foundation Health Partner's employees into patient areas to observe and maintains confidentiality of all patient information
Works cohesively with team members to ensure delivery of outstanding customer service, in a positive work environment, that supports the department’s ongoing goals and objectives
Qualification
Required
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
Must have general knowledge related to the department/unit/area of study
Proficiency with commonly used office software and personal computers may be necessary, depending on assignment

Additional related education and/or experience preferred
