Patient Access Representative
Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions. The Patient Access Representative will serve as the first point of contact for patients, assess their needs, and provide information about Patient Services while working within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for patients, assess their needs, and triage calls
Explain Patient Services initiatives to customers
Enroll new customers and record activities in the patient database
Follow up with external entities to ensure patient needs are met
Complete special projects as required
Qualification
Required
Experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Customer Service
Proficient in MS Office, email, web-based applications, and keyboarding
Ability to handle high-pressure, time-sensitive situations with excellent judgment
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Open to feedback and coaching
Preferred
Experience with databases (CRM preferable) or tracking systems; Salesforce CRM experience
Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical environments
Understanding of challenges associated with patients' medical conditions
