Human Resource Information System Manager

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation of manual processes within HR functions through the HR system configurations
Manage HRIS projects, including upgrades, new module rollouts, and integrations with other HR systems
Support the technical Payroll process
Collaborate with IT, vendors, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and integration of HR systems with other systems
Translate data into actionable insights through curated dashboards, trend analyses, and predictive indicators along with providing recommendations on improvements
Develop and maintain HRIS SOPs, configuration logs, control narratives, and training materials
Write, maintain and support a variety of reports and develop reports for ongoing business needs
Prepare for and support internal/external audits related to payroll master data, access, and change controls
Ensure compliance with privacy (GDPR/CCPA/CPRA as applicable), labor regulations, data retention, and internal controls
Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes
Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to HR technology and systems
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

5+ years of HRIS systems management experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge of HR best practices, compliance requirements, and recordkeeping standards

Preferred

DayForce/ADP/UKG experience a plus
Experience in the utility and/or construction industry is preferred
Experience with a complex, multi-entity organization is preferred
HRIS certification preferred
