MIT Lincoln Laboratory is focused on the rapid design and prototyping of innovative electro-optic systems for various U.S. government entities. They are seeking an IT Co-Op to provide general IT support, including installing and troubleshooting software and hardware systems in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
Installing, updating, maintaining and troubleshooting all necessary software products required to operate PC’s, laptops, and servers
Supporting operating systems including Windows 11, MacOS, Linux and ESXi
Working with hardware to include Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices, printers, and serial devices
Supporting tasks related to the design, implementation and test of IT systems that meet real-world DoD needs operationally
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an accredited college co-op program
At least one year of direct IT experience in a professional or home environment
Knowledgeable in the use of various operating systems (Windows 11, MacOS and distributions Linux) as well as application software products (Microsoft Office, etc.)
Should have basic understanding of networking (DHCP, Static IPs, etc.)
Preferred
Previous completion of at least one year of schooling with an Information Technology or Computer Science background
