Administrative Supervisor, Juvenile Justice Division

Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office is seeking an Administrative Supervisor for the Juvenile Justice Division. The role involves supervising administrative support staff, ensuring workflow operations meet unit needs, and providing support to management and attorneys in the division.

Responsibilities

Supervise administrative assistants assigned to the Juvenile Justice Division
Supervise administrative assistant working weekends and holiday bond court
Prepare schedules for Overnight/Duty bond court
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, work product and performance
Prepare and administer all evaluations and disciplinary actions
Prepare statistical reports upon request
Perform duties assigned to administrative staff when necessary
Address issues within the Bureau and Division when necessary
Work directly with outside agencies
Work directly with Bureau Chief, Division Chief, ASA Supervisors, and Office Manager
Maintain file room
Responsible for inventory evidence
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task
The candidate must be able to manage a high-volume caseload daily
The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Word applications

Preferred

Working knowledge of Clerks, SharePoint, and Justice Nexis systems
Typing speed of 50+wpm
