Responsibilities
Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations
Conduct safety inspections, document findings, and recommend corrective actions
Maintain up-to-date procedures and records to meet OSHA standards
Deliver safety training programs for employees and subcontractors in both English and Spanish
Effectively communicate safety policies to diverse, multicultural teams
Conduct daily safety meetings
Perform risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSAs) to identify potential hazards
Implement corrective measures to mitigate identified risks
Coordinate emergency drills and response plans
Provide support in first aid and CPR/AED during emergencies
Prepare incident, accident, and safety audit reports
Utilize Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat to document procedures, reports, and compliance records
Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding safety protocols and compliance during project execution
Lead and train multicultural groups, including Mexican, Spanish, American, and Chinese team members
Foster a collaborative and inclusive safety culture among diverse teams
Qualification
Required
Fluency in Spanish is required, as the role involves daily communication with Spanish-speaking field personnel
Previous experience in the automotive sector or related industries required
OSHA 30 in Construction
Fluency in English/ Spanish
Preferred
Associate's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Degree preferred but not required
2+ years of experience working in construction Industrial/ Commercial environments strongly preferred
