Responsibilities
Create and maintain project structures in SAP and EcoSys
Develop project networks and activities to support the requisition and procurement process
Collaborate with Project Managers and Cost Specialists to establish and input initial project budgets
Review and validate invoices and purchase orders for compliance with cost coding and budget allocations
Prepare and submit monthly accruals
Resolve invoice discrepancies and support timely payment processing
Facilitate asset registration activities
Track and manage project commitments
Assist with cost reporting and forecasting requirements
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Qualification
Required
5+ years of cost control or cost engineering experience, preferably in the oil & gas industry
Strong knowledge of cost management principles, systems, and best practices
Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and cost control/reporting tools
Experience working on large capital projects or multiple smaller projects with increasing complexity
Solid understanding of project execution processes and cross-functional interactions
Experience with major EPC firms or oil & gas operators
Hands-on experience with EcoSys and Power BI
Professional certifications such as AACE CCP, PMP, or similar (preferred)
Familiarity with project planning and scheduling processes
Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
