Electronics Supervisor
NEOGOV is seeking an Electronics Supervisor for the Airway Heights Correction Center, part of the Washington State Department of Corrections. The role involves maintenance support and administration of various electronic systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety within the facility.

Responsibilities
Providing maintenance support, parts replacement and administration of the following systems: Security Electronics Network (SEN) Motorola trunked radio system with mobile and portable radios
Electronic door control and indication Video security cameras (Genetec) Harding Intercom System Hirsch Velocity scramble keypad secure entry system Perimeter detection system Data and communications fiber and copper infrastructure Fire Alarm System (Gamewell)
Backup support for Keywatcher key control and Velocity user’s door access administration
Recommend needed projects and upgrades to enhance or replace electronic systems
Communicate with supervisors, and managers on project status, delays, changes and projections
Ensure Service Requests are reviewed and assigned to electronics staff, and completed expeditiously
Recommend/order/approve needed parts and equipment to maintain systems operations
Administer preventative maintenance tasks assigned through Asset Planner Ensure a daily operational check of all cameras, perimeter system, Harding system, fire alarm system and that a daily tool check is done on all ET shop tools
Assign the cleaning and replacement of smoke detectors in all areas
Shop and inventory organization and maintenance
Other duties as approved by the Plant Manager
Qualification
Required
EL06 limited energy electrical license for the State of Washington
5 years of experience of design and installation of Security Electronics Network systems
3 years of experience installing and programming cameras on video surveillance networks
Preferred
Associates degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent military or civilian training
Ability to identify and recommend solutions to electronic systems failures
Ability to communicate clearly with contractors and vendors to describe problems and possible solutions on the various electronic systems operating within the facility
