Responsibilities
Accurately enter and update customer, order, inventory, and product data into company databases, ERP, and CRM systems following established formats and conventions
Validate incoming data for completeness and accuracy; flag and resolve discrepancies through research and coordination with operations, sales, or logistics teams
Perform routine data reconciliation and batching tasks (CSV imports/exports) to maintain data integrity across integrated platforms
Utilize OCR and scanning tools to digitize paper forms and verify automated extractions for quality assurance
Maintain clear documentation of data processes and contribute to process improvements to reduce turnaround time and error rates
Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets while escalating systemic issues to supervisors with proposed remediation steps
Qualification
Required
Proven experience working with Microsoft Excel for data entry, including basic formulas and filters
Hands-on experience using Google Sheets and common CSV import/export workflows
Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP platforms for transactional data updates
Experience with OCR tools (e.g., ABBYY FineReader) or other document-scanning software
Strong keyboarding skills with demonstrated accuracy in high-volume entry environments
Preferred
Prior exposure to inventory or order management processes in manufacturing/distribution environments
Experience with data validation tools, basic scripting for automation (e.g., Google Apps Script), or Excel macros
