Territory Sales Manager-Midwest US & Canada
Critical Fit Recruiting is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to lead growth initiatives across the specialty adhesives business. This role involves driving new business development and expanding relationships with existing accounts in the Midwest region and Canada.
Responsibilities
Hunt, identify, qualify, develop and close new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Manage and expand existing customer relationships to maximize revenue and EBITDA growth. Key measures will be sales revenue, gross margin and pipeline
Execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Utilize CRM to manage leads, track opportunities, and maintain accurate customer records
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent prospecting, networking, and follow-up
Partner with internal teams (Customer Service, Product Management & Technical Operations) to deliver exceptional customer experience
Conduct in-person customer visits, product demos, and presentations to decision-makers at all levels
Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs
Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and territory analyses
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within manufacturing, industrial products, or adhesives/tape markets
Proven “hunter” track record of developing new business and achieving sales goals
Strong CRM discipline and experience - preferably Microsoft Dynamics®
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Self-starter who thrives in a results-driven environment with minimal supervision
Ability to travel extensively (approximately 50–70%)
