Program Coordinator & Program Facilitator
The Capital District YMCA is seeking two individuals for the Black & Latino Achievers Facilitator and Program Coordinator role to support community strengthening efforts. The role involves implementing the YMCA's Black and Latino Achievers Program Model, which includes facilitating sessions, scheduling speakers, and guiding participants and volunteers.

Responsibilities
Assist with implementing the YMCA of the USA Black and Latino Achievers Program Model
Attend staff meetings
Facilitate club sessions
Support the scheduling of career exploration speakers
Lead career industry exploration tours
Facilitate Immersion Day activities
Provide supervision and guidance to program participants and volunteers
Qualification
Required
High School/GED is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software programs is required
Reliable transportation with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Complete within 30 days of hire: Current certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens
Passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to the mission and cause of the YMCA; Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people
Must present a professional image, possess conflict resolution skills, and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative
Must be highly organized with the ability to work under pressure and think
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
Preferred
A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
1 - 2 years related experience in youth programming is preferred
