Responsibilities

Assist with preparing and filing SEC periodic reports, including Forms 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K, and ensuring compliance with USGAAP, disclosure requirements and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 in the financial reporting area
Monitor, research, interpret and assess new U.S. GAAP pronouncements & SEC reporting requirements and succinctly present their impact on Agilent’s financial statements, disclosures and reporting processes with external reporting white papers and memorandums
Review defined benefit pension accounting and disclosure in partnership with third-party actuary
Analyze the impact of derivative and hedging activities in collaboration with Treasury team
Review the US Burden rate (e.g., healthcare and 401K, etc.) activity and provide monthly actual and forecast updates to the Controller and FP&A team
Implement and maintain procedures to ensure the timely accumulation of information necessary for financial reporting functions, including press releases and investor relations materials. Collaborate with business partners to review financial reporting processes and identify/implement opportunities for continuous improvement
Work closely with external auditors and assist in the coordination of the annual audit and quarterly reviews
Manage updates to Agilent’s Accounting and Finance Manual (AFM)
Support other significant or unusual transactions including impact on accounting and disclosure in areas such as ESG, Human Capital, Climate and Cybersecurity

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, plus a minimum of 5+ years of relevant and practical experience, CPA/CA preferred
Strong financial reporting and technical accounting skills, including working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley 404
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, coupled with sound judgment and professionalism
Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments and drive change
Positive attitude, focus, and ability to multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment
Demonstrate resilience and adaptability to changing business priorities
Sound knowledge of reporting tools (preferably SAP and HFM) and various office suites products (word, excel, power point, share point, etc.)
This is an on-site position, and the candidate is expected to be on-site a minimum of 3 days a week
