2+ years expGEI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Project Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to join their Raleigh office. The role involves contributing to the planning and implementation of water resource projects, supporting field and engineering design efforts, and preparing design documents for various projects.

Responsibilities
Execute technical projects and assignments in coordination with project managers and support staff. Example projects include dam removals, stream/river restoration, dam rehabilitation, flood control, stormwater management planning and design
Prepare detailed written memoranda and reports on technical assignments and present technical information to peers and clients
Prepare design documents including drawings, technical specifications, basis of design documents, bid documents and project schedules
Travel to project sites and other offices as required, including overnight travel
Working knowledge of Federal and Local regulatory and permitting requirements is desirable
Computer modeling, CAD and GIS experience a plus
Qualification
Required
2-8 Years of applicable professional experience
B.S. Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, M.S. considered a plus
Ability to obtain a Professional Engineering license within four (4) years
Ability to work in a team environment both indoors and outdoors
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to travel on temporary work assignments
Valid drivers license
Preferred
Working knowledge of Federal and Local regulatory and permitting requirements is desirable
Computer modeling, CAD and GIS experience a plus
