Custom Design Engineer
NICOMATIC is a company focused on custom design engineering. They are seeking a Custom Design Engineer to create and develop detailed designs for electronic components, manage design projects, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
Create concepts and mockup
Create detailed designs for products, components, or systems using SolidWorks
Perform design calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure functionality, performance, and safety
Select appropriate materials, processes, and technologies for design projects
Develop and test prototypes to validate design concepts and performance
Analyze test results, identify issues, and refine designs as needed
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and project plans
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
Lead and manage multiple design projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to ensure feasibility and production readiness of designs
Liaise with clients or internal stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates on project status
Qualification
Required
5 to 8 years of experience in design engineering in connector or electronic components
Have a flexible spirit; and be creative, a team worker, responsible, and autonomous
Enjoy working with customers' teams
Create concepts and mockup
Create detailed designs for products, components, or systems using SolidWorks
Perform design calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure functionality, performance, and safety

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, such as machining, injection molding (plastic and silicon), back-potting
