Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 5–8 engineers, providing regular, actionable feedback
Stay hands-on with system design, coding, and shipping core product features (~20% IC time)
Define and execute the technical strategy across a core product portfolio
Own team-level OKRs, delivery scope, and cross-team dependencies
Establish and uphold engineering best practices (architecture reviews, CI/CD, observability)
Partner closely with founders and senior leadership on key technical decisions
Qualification
Required
1–8 years of engineering management experience
Comfortable balancing people leadership with hands-on technical contribution
Strong engineering background (Python + full-stack systems)
Experience in startup or high-growth environments
Proven ability to scale teams, processes, and technical systems
Mission-driven mindset with an interest in healthcare and real-world impact
