Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for ZeOmega’s Jiva platform, including configuration, workflow design, reporting, and user support
Analyze and document business requirements, workflows, and process improvements for managed care functions (UM, CM, DM, HRA, Appeals & Grievances)
Collaborate with clinical, IT, and operational teams to identify opportunities to enhance care management workflows using Jiva and other systems
Work with developers and system administrators to implement, test, and validate system changes or new functionalities
Support system upgrades, patches, and integration efforts with downstream and upstream systems (e.g., claims, eligibility, EMRs)
Develop and deliver training materials, user guides, and support documentation for end users
Participate in data analysis, dashboard development, and performance reporting related to care management KPIs
Conduct system testing (UAT, regression) and ensure that solutions meet business and regulatory requirements
Monitor vendor performance and participate in vendor relationship management activities
Understands business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific process, control, and reporting requirements
Identifying areas for process improvement, and developing/ implementing solution
Leading review and writing descriptions of business needs and business program functions, including creating process and data flow diagrams, workflow diagrams, test scripts, training curriculum, and quality assurance/audit procedures
Identifying opportunities for workflow optimization, efficiency and automation
Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
Performing requirements analysis
Documenting and communicating the results
Recommend alert and reporting requirements
Leverage technical skills, coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of the customer's needs to transform information into application and operational requirements
Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
Ensuring options are evaluated and presented to meet business needs and requirements
Performing user acceptance testing
Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures
Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements
Serving as a liaison between stakeholders, business units, technology teams and support teams
Managing competing resources and priorities
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

Required

A bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred, comparable experience considered
3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a managed care or healthcare payer environment
Hands-on experience with ZeOmega's Jiva platform – including configuration, administration, and workflow design
A minimum of 3 years as a team member on process-oriented projects in highly complex business-to-business and/or outsourced client environments
Previous experience working for a managed care organization in Claims, Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
A history of supporting successful projects
Must be able to sit in a chair for extended periods of time
Must be able to speak so that you are able to accurately express ideas by means of the spoken word
Must be able to hear, understand, and/or distinguish speech and/or other sounds in person, via telephone/cellular phone, and/or electronic devices
Must have ample dexterity which allows entering of text and/or data into a computer or other electronic device by means of a keyboard and/or mouse
Must be able to clearly use sight so that you are able to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and/or assess data or other information types
Must be able to fluently communicate both verbally and in writing using the English language

Preferred

Working knowledge of other care management platforms (e.g., Medecision, GuidingCare, Casenet, TruCare, Salesforce Health Cloud)
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial lines of business and applicable CMS guidelines
Strong understanding of care management principles, including HEDIS, NCQA, utilization management, and population health
Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel, Visio, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project) is a plus
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Healthcare IT (CPHIMS, AHIP) is preferred
Ability to evaluate opportunity and determine/ present viable options/ alternatives
