HR/Office Manager

Fight Colorectal Cancer is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by colorectal cancer. The HR/Office Manager will provide administrative support to the CEO and leadership team while managing human resources functions and office operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and leadership team
Prepare, print, and assemble meeting agendas, packets, and board materials
Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and follow-up for executive, staff, and board meetings
Take and distribute meeting notes and action items
Serve as the on-site administrative presence for the Springfield office
Manage office operations including supplies, mail, filing, and document management
Administer HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, performance management, and employee relations
Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies
Maintain HR records, reports, and workforce planning documentation
Support accounts payable/receivable and other administrative tasks as assigned
Perform additional duties as assigned by executive leadership

Required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, office management, or a related administrative role
Working knowledge of human resources laws, regulations, and best practices
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team
Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive problem-solver

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
